ACTIVITIES

From the 24th to 26th of February 2021, we had our maiden Webinar program with the theme DEMOCRACY AND YOU.

The program was well attended by Nigerians both within and outside the country. Apart from Nigeria, participants came from Africa, Asia, Europe North America and South America. Resource persons were drawn from different parts of the world, and that afforded participants a rich variety of perspectives on the issue as well as the opportunity to compare notes. In the course of the programme, innovative ways of enlightening and mobilising the masses for the cause of democracy were highlighted.
The ideas generated during that programme will be useful in our outreach to various constituencies across the country.
We have identified a yearning among Nigerians for a democracy that works for us and addresses our everyday concerns including security, education, healthcare, transportation and employment. We believe that our democracy should be able to address these concerns and that we should seek means for bringing that about. Ro this end, we shall be holding the second edition of DEMOCRACY AND YOU on the 7th and 8th of June, 2021. Because of the diverse locations of expected participants, the event would hold virtually.

Interview;

My impression. Is indeed a summit that has come to educate individuals about the true values of democracy. It should be a continuous process agenda and also more publicity should be encouraged through all valid ways to stire up mostly the Young youths nor up coming politicians. And also more hard work is needed from everyone to make it come true. Thank you his Excellency.

The 1st phase of the discuss to me was centered on the springboard why the Youth should be the needful to drive most areas of Leadership in today’s Governance. The 2nd Phase to me should geared towards appropriate DISMINATION in form of pragmatic AWARENESS of this concept and thought to the grassroots being the majority that most cases go out for ELECTION on election day !!!.
